November 2-5, 2017

'Selene', 2017, will soon be on her way to SOFA Expo, Chicago (Nov 2-5). Opaline glass has been developed in the kiln with contrasting opacities to reveal a distinct shift from clear to milk white as the piece radiates outwards. Reminiscent of its water-stone, opal glass has been used to embody Selene, the Greek goddess of the moon whose gravitational pull connects us to the tides. Created at The Toledo Museum of Art during my GAPP Residency, the installation will be showcased through Habatat Galleries. Dimension: 33.5"x33.5"x3.5".

This talk, created specifically for SOFA, covers the artists in CAST who have work on display at SOFA this year.
